Whether you need documentation to insure
your rare concert instrument, or want us to help you discover the
origins and value of your heirloom instrument, our appraisal services
are what you need. We have completed hundreds of appraisal certificates
for rare instruments and our appraisals are accepted by insurance
companies across the nation including Clarion Insurance, a specialized
musical instrument insurance company. We can write a certificate for
individual instruments, or build an appraisal list for extensive collections.
To complement our high level of training and expertise, we maintain
an extensive reference library on violins and their makers, and maintain
contact with other experts around the world. We also conduct verbal
appraisals when you just want to know more about your instrument.
We provide two original copies of each certificate, and keep a third
on file in our shop. All appraisals and other customer information
